I became an energy healer because I first had to heal myself. 

 

I did not accept a modern medicine arthritis diagnosis as an incurable illness. First I needed to find the root cause of my arthritis.  I realized that the stressful and often toxic work environment in three different countries (Poland, Nigeria and USA) as a chemical designer, a university professor, a laboratory chemist, an environmental engineer and an engineering consultant created a good base for crashing my immune system. I am also a mother of two daughters, a wife of a University Professor and was a caregiver to my mother who lived with us for twenty years. Professional and family responsibilities, expectations, tempo, physical and emotional toxic environments shifted my body out of balance resulting in a severe case of arthritis.  I did not accept the prognosis given by my doctor and seeing my future in a wheelchair, with crooked fingers and constant pain in my back.  I was looking for natural methods to come back to balance.

 

I experienced my first profound energetic healing when my friend Maria, a Reiki Master and Energy Healer, came from Michigan to Virginia and spent three days with me, treating my physical and energy bodies.  I started walking the dogs again and was able to hold a coffee cup in my hands. This experience opened me to whole new way of seeing my body.

 

I started searching for Reiki classes and when I found a teacher, I stayed with her until I became a Reiki Master Teacher myself.  Reiki and other modalities of energy healing have been my passion since 2006.

 

Over time I graduated as a Reiki Master in three types of Reiki Healing Systems:

• Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, graduated by the Human Touch Centers

• Karuna Reiki®, graduated by the International Center for Reiki Training

• Kundalini Reiki, graduated by a Kundalini Reiki Master Ole Gabrielsen from Denmark

 

I am also a ThetaHealing Practitioner, graduated by a certified ThetaHealing instructor, Theresa Smith. I took courses on the Sedona Method, the Emotional Freedom Technique, the Reconnection Healing Method, and Chair Back Massage.  I taught myself Facial and Feet Reflexology which I started offering as a combination with the energy of Reiki.

 

I understand in a specific way my transition from a chemical engineer to an alchemist.
No, I do not change lead into gold, yet. I prefer to focus on transmuting unbalanced energy into balanced. It is not easy being both a Reiki Master and a chemical engineer by education and profession. I consistently ask questions and look for the answer grounded in science. New discoveries in quantum physics and quantum biology presented in books by Lynne McTaggart and Dr. Bruce Lipton allowed me to breathe.  I love inspirational authors like Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, but to be fully satisfied I need to have the engagement of scientific minds into the topic of my interests.  Therefore, a vast work of a few mentioned, like Gregg Braden, Prof. William A. Tiller, Dr. Erick Pearl, Prof. Michio Kaku came to the rescue.

 

In 2006, I established Reiki Wisdom in Fairfax as a base center for holistic energy healing. My home was a place where healing sessions, classes, presentations and discussions took place. In Northern Virginia, I was active as a volunteer Reiki healer in the Life with Cancer Center, and its partner hospital. I became an active healer in the Metaphysical Chapel. I also became profoundly engaged into the healing and studying work offered by the Rays of Healing Church. Years of active work with this church lead me to become an Ordained Minister of Healing. I was active there as a healer and a lecturer, sharing with my peers my own mystical experiences and techniques leading to them. I also performed a marriage ceremony for a couple in a hospital, when a man was on his deathbed. That was a beautiful and moving event for all involved.

 

I must admit that I miss my activities in Northern Virginia. Here in Middlebrook I am starting my healing work in a new place, but have a deep feeling that I can be of service in Middlebrook and the area.  I have a dream that with my new local friends we will co-create something so beautiful. We may experience together friendship, vitality, balance, radiance, peace and love.
